As a hospice nurse, I have the opportunity to provide hospice services to a resident at Meadow Mills. I find their staff to be compassionate and professional. They work cooperatively with my team to elevate the already comprehensive care they provide to meet my patient’s ever changing needs. Hats off to Kate [DON] and her team!

All-Inclusive Services and Amenities

Life Enrichment Programs

Keeping an active mind and body is an important part of slowing the effects of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. In fact, our residents enjoy daily activities specific to their abilities. Programs like Music Therapy, Reminiscent discussions, Memory Games and activities stimulate the senses and offers residents the acknowledgement, positive human contact, socialization and emotional support that each individual needs. Programming may also include one-on-one conversations activities such as hand massages, listening to music, brushing hair, and depends on the interests, hobbies, and needs of each resident.

Living Maintenance-Free

When you arrive at Meadow Mills, you will first notice our beautiful, two acres of well-kept grounds, with a safe outdoor area for residents to enjoy. Inside, our community is bright, clean and clear. We work diligently to keep our community beautiful and safe for our neighbors inside and out.

Dining Services

Following the guidelines of the National Alzheimer’s Association, we provide a well-balanced nutritious diet that incorporates a variety of foods such as fruits, berries, basil, green leafy vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy products and lean protein foods.  At Meadow Mills, we understand that basic nutrition and proper hydration can help boost a person with Dementia’s health.

With only 15 residents per hall, the dining room is an intimate and relaxing setting. In addition, food allergies and preferences are taken into careful consideration.

Housekeeping & Laundry

Weekly housekeeping and laundry are included for each resident. If a resident requires additional services, we will work with family and staff to ensure proper cleanliness.

Memory Care Specific

Meadow Mills is the perfect place for those who need help with activities of daily living and also have cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer’s & Dementia.

Personalized Care Approach

To ensure the right amount of care for each of our residents, we assess resident’s physical and cognitive health upon admission and regularly thereafter. In addition, our nursing staff is trained to actively listen and observe our residents. As a result, we are able to adapt appropriately to each resident’s changing needs. As care plans change, the family is contacted for a review and conversation.

Nursing & Care Support

Our well-trained nursing staff delivers services 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. The nursing staff assists with activities of daily living such as medication administration, bathing/showering, dressing, grooming & hygiene, clothing selection, transferring, toileting, and dining. They may also assist with ambulation from a resident’s room to the dining room or activities room.
